- Step 1
In Tools, open Alerts & Sounds. Select a platform and Add an alert or use the button to add basic rules.
- Step 2
Indicate the event and threshold. For a gift, you can additionally limit the rule to a selected gift; for subscriptions, select a supported type.
- Step 3
Choose the sound, its volume and cooperation with music and TTS. Save the rule before moving on to the next one.
- Step 4
Go to what this alert looks like. Set the image, text and animations, save and then check the test in preview and in your OBS source.
Broadcast example
You want to say thank you for three roses. The gift rule shows the rose graphic, nickname and number of pieces, plays the selected sound and mutes the music queue for the duration of the alert. A separate rule can handle Twitch Bits or YouTube support.
Action and possibilities
Events and platforms
You assign the rule to a specific platform. Available types include: likes, follows, TikTok gifts, Twitch Bits, Kicks, Super Chat, Super Stickers, YouTube endorsements and gifted subscriptions, and raids and rewards for Twitch and Kick points.
Threshold and method of counting
Select a minimum, exact value or range. The threshold may apply to a single event or to a sum. The gift filter limits the reaction to the specified gift; currency filter applies to monetary support. The interval between alerts limits triggering too frequently.
Subscriptions and internship
You can split new subscription, gift and internship. The seniority alert takes into account the number of months. Twitch allows you to choose a subscription tier or all tiers. Rules can have separate images and sounds.
Image, text and layout
Select a default gift image, an inline graphic, a stock file, or an online resource. The text can be below, next to or on top of the image. Set the nickname, name of the gift, number of pieces and support value, and the direction of expansion of long inscriptions.
Sound and cooperation with TTS
Indicate file, volume, image and sound order and visual delay. The alert can pause TTS and mute the music. Depending on the output, the sound is played by the panel, the selected overlay or a separate audio source.
Test and record
The entry consolidates the rule changes. You set the appearance and animations in the overlay edition. The saved configuration test allows you to check the effect in the browser source; previewing your draft changes does not mean saving them.
